THIS IS DUE IN LARGE PART TO THE VEHICULAR TRAFFIC THAT GOES UP AND DOWN EACH STREET, THE SIGNS BEING MAINTAINED THROUGH THE ENTIRE ZONING PROCESS.
MAILED NOTICES RUN A RISK OF BEING RECEIVED LATE, DISCARDED, LOST OR FORGOTTEN.
RIGHT NOW WE'RE SEEING ANECDOTALLY A RESPONSE RATE OF 1 TO 3%, 1 TO 3% FOR THE 1000 FOOT NOTIFICATION WRITTEN NOTIFICATIONS. BEFORE YOU IS THE PROPOSED ZONING SIGN THAT WOULD BE PLACED ON THE SUBJECT PROPERTY REQUESTING A REZONING OR SUP. SO, THEY'RE APPROXIMATELY FOUR FEET BY FOUR FEET.

CURRENT SALES TAX IS 8.25%, WHICH IS SIMILAR TO MOST CITIES THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
HERE'S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT THE SALES TAX IN EACH GROUP IS.
AND YOU SEE HERE THAT THE STREET MAINTENANCE TAX IS A QUARTER PERCENT MDD.

EDC GETS IT GETS HALF A PERCENT. AND THEN THE REST OF IT GOES INTO THE OPERATING BUDGET.
AND THEN AGAIN STATE OF TEXAS GETS 6.25%. SO AGAIN SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THAT GOES TO THE CITY.

EXCUSE ME. SIXTH STREET ALLEY. WE DID A LOT OF ALLEY PROJECTS LAST YEAR AT EAST VIEW, HILLTOP MEADOW, DEWITT, SACHSE STREET AND HIGH RIDGE DRIVE. SO AGAIN, A LOT OF THESE ARE JUST THE ONES WE DID WITH STREET MAINTENANCE TAX.
AND YOU CAN KIND OF SEE IT'S KIND OF ALL OVER THE PLACE. IT'S NOT JUST ASPHALT STREETS, IT'S NOT CONCRETE STREETS. IT'S KIND OF A MIXTURE OF BOTH. BUT ANYWAYS, THIS IS THE MAP OF THE PROJECTS THAT WE'VE DONE SO FAR.
