IS THAT SET ASIDE IN THE SAME MANNER THAT THE STRATEGIC PLAN MONEY IS SET ASIDE, OR IS IT, HEY, WE DIDN'T USE IT, SO WE JUST PUT IT BACK INTO THE GENERAL FUND. THAT MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT TERM, THE GENERAL FUND, AND IT'S THERE FOR LATER USE. SO IT COULD. BECAUSE IT IMPACTS US AS WE MAKE DECISIONS WHERE OTHER INCENTIVES MAY COME UP. WE SAY, WAIT A MINUTE, DO WE HAVE THE FUNDS TO DO IT? THAT'S A GREAT QUESTION BECAUSE IF WE IF AN OPPORTUNITY COMES ALONG AND IT'S OKAY, WE WANT TO INCENTIVIZE THIS MUCH. WELL, THAT'S WAY MORE THAN WHAT IS BUDGETED OUT THERE. SO NOW DO I HAVE TO GO BACK TO CITY FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT? OR MAYBE I DON'T. I'M JUST I'D WANT TO PUSH THE FINANCE GUYS. THEY'RE SMART. IS THERE A BETTER WAY TO ILLUSTRATE THAT TIMING WISE FOR OUR INCENTIVES? YOU TYPICALLY HAVE A COUPLE DIFFERENT STRUCTURES. OR HISTORICALLY FOR SINCE I'VE BEEN HERE THE LAST FEW YEARS, YOU HAVE SALES TAX REIMBURSEMENTS AND YOU HAVE INFRASTRUCTURE GRANTS, AND THE GRANTS ARE PRETTY MUCH YOU DO THE THING, YOU MEET THE PERFORMANCE STANDARD, YOU QUALIFY FOR THE FUNDING AND WE TYPICALLY DO IT. IT'S A REIMBURSEMENT. SO YOU SHOW US THE RECEIPTS, YOU ARE ABLE TO BE REIMBURSED. SO A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THAT IS YOU KNOW, PROJECT YOSEMITE, WHICH WAS THE DECEL LANE MEDIAN CUT, SERVES THE STARBUCKS AND CHIPOTLE DOWN THERE ON MILES ROAD. FOR LIKE THAT, WE WOULD JUST PUT THAT FUNDING INTO THE YEAR. WE KNEW IT WAS $200,000 AND SO WE'D SAY IN THIS FISCAL YEAR, WE'RE SETTING WE'RE PROJECTING THIS DOLLAR AMOUNT TO GO TO THAT AGAIN, SUBJECT TO MEETING THEIR THE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS FOR SOME OF THE SALES TAX REIMBURSEMENT DEALS YOU MIGHT HAVE OVER IT MIGHT BE A TEN YEAR PAYOUT OR WHATEVER OVER TIME FOR A NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT AND SO RATHER THAN SAYING, OKAY, WE'RE GOING TO PUT ALL OF IT IN THIS YEAR, WE KIND OF EXTRAPOLATE. WE PROJECT IF THEY HIT THEIR TARGET AND THEY QUALIFY FOR THAT REIMBURSEMENT. WHAT WOULD THAT BE? SO IT'S LIKE A FRACTION OF THAT. YOU KNOW, OVER TEN YEARS. SO YOU'LL SEE THAT THERE'S, YOU KNOW, THERE'S A PROJECT IN THERE IN FY 25 BUDGET. AND THEY DIDN'T QUALIFY. SO THAT FUND, THAT FUNDING WAS SET ASIDE IN THE BUDGET. IT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT GOING TO BE SPENT ON THAT PROJECT. AS WE'VE SAID, YOU'VE PROBABLY HEARD ME SAY IT A THOUSAND TIMES. YOU'RE PROBABLY SICK OF HEARING ME SAY IT. OUR STUFF ROLLS BACK INTO THE EDC FUND BALANCE, SO ANYTHING NOT USED GOES BACK INTO EDC FUND BALANCE FOR INCENTIVES SPECIFICALLY FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INCENTIVE. YOU HAVE AN EXECUTED CONTRACT. IT DOESN'T REALLY. THE BUDGET YEAR DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE, AS LONG AS IT'S KIND OF LIKE THE OUTYEAR FUNDING FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN THAT FUND THAT. IT'S AN APPROVED AGREEMENT. BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLOCATING MONEY THAT DOESN'T GET SPENT. IT ROLLS BACK IN, YOU'RE REALLOCATING IT, AND IN THEORY, IT COULD ALL BE ZERO. THAT'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. YEAH.
